Trans Lifeline Suicide Hotline
Trans Lifeline is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the well being of transgender people. They run a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of our community might have.
They are Trans Lifeline. They provide culturally competent services to Trans and gender nonconforming people in crisis; They work with stakeholders within and without the Trans community to end the plague of Trans suicide; They empower Trans people to help other Trans people in the darkest moments of their lives.

Gender Benders of Upstate, South Carolina
Gender Benders was founded in 2011 to provide a safe space for all transgender, gender variant, LGBTQIA individuals in the Upstate, SC area. Their mission is to strive to create support by connecting individuals through friendships, providing support through their resources, and initiating trans-inclusive change through social action.

What does PFLAG do?WE LISTEN We listen in confidence to family members who are troubled by a loved one’s coming out, and who don’t know how to cope. WE SHARE We share our stories and concerns. We talk with people who have “been there” and who might help others on their journey to loving and accepting a gay family member or friend. WE LEARN We learn from speakers who come to our meetings and teach us skills we can use to help ourselves and others understand sexual diversity. WE ACT We act on issues that touch on the support of our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender loved ones.
